Terms of Use

Points to Stripes is an independent study and planning tool for the ASVAB and Army promotion points. Use it to learn and estimate, but always verify against official Army sources. By using the website or the app, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance

These terms are an agreement between you and Voroxi Group LLC (“we,” “us”), the company that operates Points to Stripes, and cover the website at pointstostripes.com and the Points to Stripes mobile app for iOS and Android (together, the “Service”). If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your own device secure; the app has no login, so anyone with access to your unlocked device can see your in-app data.

Informational and estimates only

The calculators, practice, guides, cutoffs, and estimates in the Service are provided for general information and planning. Promotion-point values and cutoff scores are best-effort estimates and reference data based on publicly available information (including AR 600-8-19 and HQDA/HRC materials) and can change with Army policy. Nothing in the Service is official guidance, a guarantee of promotion or of enlistment eligibility, or a substitute for AR 600-8-19, HQDA/HRC guidance, your recruiter, or the direction of your chain of command and S1. Always confirm your official standing in IPPS-A and with your S1.

ASVAB practice content

All practice questions in the app are original and written for study. The app uses no real ASVAB questions. AFQT and subtest results shown in the app are practice-based estimates, not official scores; your official AFQT comes only from the proctored ASVAB. Confirm enlistment eligibility and any score requirements with a recruiter.

Not affiliated with the Army

Points to Stripes is an independent product and is not affiliated with, authorized, or endorsed by the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, any branch of the armed forces, or the official ASVAB testing program. All military terminology is used descriptively.

Subscriptions and payments

The app offers an optional Pro subscription and, for the soldier path, a non-renewing 90-day pass. Current plans are Pro Annual ($29.99/year) and Pro Monthly ($4.99/month), plus the Promotion Sprint 90-day pass ($9.99); prices may vary by region and may change with notice. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and billed to your store account.

  • Auto-renewal. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Managing and canceling. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we generally cannot issue store refunds directly.
  • Features. Free and Pro features may change over time as the app evolves.

App stores

When you get the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store’s terms, and the following apply to the Apple App Store: this agreement is between you and us only, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it; if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any), and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation; we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

License and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own promotion planning and study. The Service, including its software, text, design, original practice questions, and compiled reference data, is owned by us or our licensors. Don’t copy, redistribute, sell, scrape, reverse-engineer (except where that restriction is prohibited by law), or use the Service to build a competing product.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the Service, interfere with or disrupt it, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or rely on it for official decisions. We may suspend or limit access if you violate these terms.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that any estimate, cutoff, or result is accurate, current, or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made or actions taken based on the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to the Service and these terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above; continued use of the Service means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Texas will have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Nothing here limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of your place of residence.
